Death of Democracy, JRP0155

August 31, 2020

Is there a different approach we can take to resolve the conflicts in Kenosha and Portland?  We examine how we can come together with a common philosophy based on our nation’s founding values to resolve the conflict.  We explore our inalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and the idea of equality under the law and how that can help us overcome police brutality, racial injustice and still provide law and order.  We then get into the MLB Trade Deadline and the amazing moves by Padres General Manager AJ Preller.  Finally, we explore the idea of Addition by Subtraction to make life simpler, less stressful, and easier.

We also discuss a range of other people and topics including John Thompson, Chadwick Boseman, Thurgood Marshall, Jackie Robinson, Black Panther, Georgetown, Patrick Ewing, Alonzo Mourning, Allen Iverson, Donald Trump, Joe Biden, Portland, Kenosha, Kyle Rittenhouse, BLM, Law and Order, War on Drugs, Jacob Blake, Breonna Taylor, Frank Fournier, Phil Factor, Trevor Rosenthal, Edward Oliveras, Mitch Moreland, Hudson Potts, Jeisson Rosario, Jason Castro, Gerardo Reyes, Austin Nola, Austin Adams, Dan Altavilla, Taylor Trammell, Ty France, Luis Torrens, Andres Munoz, Mike Clevinger, Greg Allen, Josh Naylor, Cal Quantrill, Gabriel Arias, Austin Hedges, Joey Cantillo, Owen Miller, JT Realmuto, Mackenzie Gore, CJ Abrams, Luis Patino, Luis Campusano, Robert Hassell, Adrian Morejon, Ryan Weathers, Cole Wilcox.
