Gaby Dow POTUS San Diego Political Update JRP112

Gaby Dow returned for her second podcast interview and we had a great time covering national and San Diego political issues.  We broke down the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination process looking at each candidate and how the race was shaping up.  We can’t talk national politics without discussion President Trump, his policies and what the eventual November 2020 race might look like.  That led to so many other interesting discussions involving culture, race, healthcare, education and how America differs from Scandinavia, Latin America and Germany.

Gaby Dow and I spent plenty of time looking at some of the important races on the San Diego County ballot including the San Diego Mayoral Race, San Diego City Council District 5, the new bond measure with Poway Unified School District (Measure P), San Diego County Board of Supervisors District 2, US Congressional District 50 and much more.

We discuss or mention so many other interesting people and places including Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Andrew Yang, Amy Klobuchar, Pete Buttigieg, Mike Bloomberg, Stop & Frisk, Iowa Caucus, Ranked Choice Voting, Joe Biden, Steve Miller, Copenhagen, Iceland, Hamburg, Columbia, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Vicente Fox, Barbara Bry, Todd Gloria, Scott Sherman, Marni von Wilpert, Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Mark Kersey, Steve Vaus, Joel Anderson, Tony Krvaric, TJ Zane, Marian Kim-Phelps, Kimberley Beatty, Charles Sellers, Michelle O’Connor-Ratcliff, Darsh Patel, Valley Elementary, Carl DeMaio, Darryl Issa, Duncan Hunter, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Steve Dow
