Today is Electoral College Day which normally is a footnote in the news, but today is a major story. We discuss some of the election chaos and fake news, but also question the necessity of the Electoral College in the 21^st Century. Then we shift gears and discuss local issues with Poway Unified School District’s need to borrow money. While discussing Poway Unified, we also pay tribute to outgoing board member Kimberley Beatty and the good work she has done in our community. Finally, we discuss the Cleveland Indians decision to drop their mascot name and the impact this will have on other sports teams to change their names as well.
